This is a shiny Vim plugin for handling tmux panes. It's implemented as a single file library and can be used as framework for other plugins.
Limits exist only in your mind! Vim on!
Put the file into ~/.vim/autoload/.
Or just clone it into ~/.vim/bundle/.
