Would you consider dropping support for Python 2.7, 3.4, and 3.5 (all of them after EOL)?

Thank you, @eumiro! Adding explicit support for Python 3.9 makes sense. Merging.

And I am open to dropping support for the EOL'ed versions. What benefits do you see that providing?

EOL'ed versions now removed (285df3e). Thanks for the suggestion.
