Pop-up displays in wrong place on external screen

The screenshot below is taken from external screen. On Mac built-in screen pop-up renders just below menu bar (as expected)

Thanks for reporting. I need some more details. How are your screens aligned and in what mode do you have them connected? Can you update the issue with screenshots of the displays menu? How are your Spaces setup? Separate for every display? Did you click the menubar icon on the built-in screen or the external one? Or interchangeably? Is this the latest pre-release version?

Here are the details:

• it seems to work randomly - at this moment screens are aligned like on the screenshot below:
  but previously I had setup like this:
  . I've been playing with different alignments and sometimes horizontal align made pop-up displaying in proper place but I didn't notice any rule here.
• I have separate Spaces for each screen
• I'm using latest pre-release version
• I clicked menubar icon on external screen - that part works really good - pop-up always shows on the same screen that icon was clicked

Quick update - I was able to reproduce it. It happens when you don't align displays on the edge that has menu bar attached and only, when the primary display is lower than the other displays.
