LEDs per layer

I've just started with Kanata (amazing software!) and this may be more of an idea, but is there anyway to work with LED's? It would be amazing if when you change to another layer LEDs could activate on certain specified keys like what happens on some of the commercial ergo boards. Thanks again for all your hard work :D

There would need to be some way to communicate with the LED-containing device. If such mechanism exists, it would be theoretically possible to control LEDs upon doing some action like changing layers.

It's a fun idea, though nothing would come "for free", and it's not an integration I would be able to test and thus write code for, since I probably don't have the device(s) to test with.

That makes sense. Thanks for getting back to me. Not having the LED feedback will give me another reason to remember my keymaps :)
