Fixed Espanso build on Windows

An issue exists in espanso that affects kanata using the default binary. The default kanata Windows binary uses SendInput, which the current version of espanso does not work with.

I've made my own build of espanso containing a hacky fix that seems to work ok in my testing:

I'm not using any unicode actions. Maybe it's a problem between interception and espanso?

Maybe, but I do use interception with this build of espanso and it works for me. Unfortunately I don't have other thoughts for how to debug 🙁

At least now I know it's possible haha. I'll try a minimal kanata config and see how that goes. I'm also thinking if ahk could be causing this, even though I'm not running any ahk script.

I've found the issue. The problem is that I use "multi (X F23)" on my alphanumeric keys, X being any letter or number. I do that in order to prevent key repeat/spamming the key, while still signaling to the OS that the key is down/pressed. If I use normal keys, that doesn't happen.

I guess in order to kanata/espanso work on my setup I would need to find another way to prevent key repeat/spamming that doesn't involve sending another key together, or a way to espanso ignore certain characters, am I right? On kanata's end, would that be similar to this issue #782?

Or maybe it isn't, since the OS still needs to "see" that the key is down, otherwise it would function like a macro, and things like shortcuts wouldn't work e.g. Ctrl+F to search. And on #782 the key would be completely blocked and never sent as key down/up.

Is there a way to work this out?

I never expierienced problems with using (macro f)... and trigger shortcuts (Windows 10) maybe there is another problem with your shortcuts.

Kanata's macro would replace the need for espanso for me if it wasn't so unwieldy at the moment. Writing macro for a sentence or more becomes fussy. Alternative optional syntax would be great like (macro "sentence") or

I wonder how to handle shifted keys and special chars in such an syntax. maybe (macro (unicodestring Thi$ works in all LÓCÀLS))
