"Add All" option not working in Joomla 1.7

I set up two test sites using this, one in Joomla 1.5 and one in Joomla 1.7.3. Both versions are running PHP5, MySql 5.1.54.

I was having problems on both sites adding participants to the subrounds results in a way that added their scores to their team totals. The forum had the solution for Joomla 1.5, which was to click the "add all" option and put in the results for the ones who actually participated. Doing it that way works great.

However, the 1.7 version doesn't do that. When I click "add all" in the subrounds results screen, I get an error "Stack Overflow at line: 469". I get the same error when try to add users one at a time, clicking "new".

Is there something I need to change, or a workaround for this? Thank you!
