hello, it depends on what os you are running, if you are on linux or mac i know the kitty terminal has the ability to show animated gifs, on windows the windows terminal you might be able to do the same also but i haven't used it myself as i'm not on windows anymore there are also file managers within the terminal that are able to play images/gifs, lf is one of them and ranger is another there is also this program gif-for-cli which does the same, again not really sure about windows support in most cases it's a hassle to do what you want and the experience is never as smooth as running the gif on a gui program, the terminal is a great tool but these kinds of functionalities are tacked/hacked on to it and don't usually work as good as the gui options |

Had a question about playing gifs in the terminal with TheZoraiz's ascii image converter project and told me to check out your projects. I have the image sequence of the gifs but would there be a way to play them completely in the terminal?
