We already have Jupyter stickers. @takluyver is waiting for numfocus response on wether they ship some to us.

I am talking with Leah and Thomas about this on an email thread. The designer is going to make a pass at designing some a couple different sizes using the existing design as a starting point...we need to improve our non-code based communication...

Yes you should. Pinged you in gitter.

We also might want to look at setting up our stickers in the stickermule market place:

https://www.stickermule.com/marketplace

This would allow our users to order stickers and we can keep the profit.

These are two designs that I have mocked up in an hour or two, I personally like the one on the bottom better! Sticker mockups are on the way, ill be mocking up multiple different shapes and sizes, also accounting for die cut stickers!

I should mention that I told @cameronoelsen that he could explore minor variations of the logo in this process, but that we don't want to do a major redesign. I do like the bottom one...

The bottom one is preferable, but I think I'd still be more likely to pick up a sticker with the original Jupyter logo.

I tend to agree with @takluyer. If we use semantic-logo-versioning I would say that I would me more inclined to accept patch revision to the logo. And this look more like a bump of 0.5.

I agree...

I ordered 600 from a new project.jupyter@gmail.com account at uprinting.com:

1"x1" square
Roll Stickers
Front Only
Gloss Indoor Laminate
White BOPP (Indoor)
Square (Rounded Corners)

@cameronoelsen can you upload a png version of the design to this github issue as well. The main pdf file is in the jupyter design dropbox.

I have also created a projectjupyter@gmail.com account with StickerMule (using Google Auth) and have asked Leah to give us access to the die cut version she has used before.

You mean 6000, right? 600 wouldn't last very long.

and are they being delivered to the hotel for you as well?

@cameronoelsen Why not stick with a standard logo? Logos should be standardized as they represent the brand iconically.

@neilpanchal We stuck with the original circular Jupyter logo for all of the marketing material produced, I was just playing around

@cameronoelsen cool, cool, cool. 👍
