The primary goal of Circcash over the next year or so is to increase the hash rate as much as possible and as quickly as possible. We want for Circcash to be mined by ASICs (application specific integrated circuits) as quickly as possible. Circcash's mining algorithm, Hashspin at its core requires one to compute using two two LFSRs (linear feedback shift registers) of lengths 15 and 17. LFSRs require extremely simple hardware, so it will be much easier to manufacture ASICs that run Hashspin than it will be to manufacture ASICs for any other purpose.

It is important for people to develop ASICs to mine Circcash to reduce the change of 51% attacks from entities who are unwilling to purchase the specialized hardware required to mine Circcash. We want to make it impossible for one to launch a 51% attack against Circcash simply by temporarily renting hardware. The development of ASICs for Circcash is an important step towards the development of reversible hardware for mining Circcash, and the development of ASICs for Circcash will signify that Circcash is a cryptocurrency that can compete with other well-known cryptocurrencies. Achieving this goal will also ensure that Circcash has the funds to develop and implement some other features.

Steps towards the goal:

Level 1: Competitive CPU mining (several people are mining Circcash at the same time).<--(8/7/2021) We are here. BOO!!!

Level 2: GPU mining. <--(7/24/2021) WE ARE HERE. YAY!!!

Level 3: FPGA mining.

Level 4: ASIC mining.

Strategy towards reaching this goal: Right now the main strategy towards reaching this goal is to simply advertise Circcash as much as possible and make Circcash as easy to use as possible. We also plan on educating the public about reversible computation and cryptocurrency technologies (these are topics that every computer programmer should know more about). We also want to get more people interested in Circcash by promoting an appreciation of science in the cryptocurrency community.

Circcash Core shall also work towards researching the mathematics, computer science, and cryptography related to Circcash and cryptocurrencies. Circcash Core will plan on developing a protocol which will be released on an updated version of Circcash where the Circcash users will vote on the implementation of hard forks so that there is no disagreement as to which hard forks should be implemented. Circcash Core may also create a complementary crypto with a mining algorithm like Hashspin that is designed to advance reversible computation hardware which will be a platform for digital contracts and especially digital contracts that are designed to reward entities for solving important computational problems.

The development of Circcash is strongly dependent on how much funding Circcash Core receives. However, Circcash Core's funding is a function of Circcash's price. If you want Circcash to develop further and achieve its goals quicker, then please show your support by buying Circcash.

Once Circcash has accomplished its goals and has become a competitive cryptocurrency, Circcash Core will release the private keys for the developer's wallet so that the miners can send the development funds to themselves each block, or Circcash will automatically reduce the development fund to zero.

The development of Circcash is guided by the Circcash community. If you want certain funds to be spent on something, then you are free to make suggestions. However, I ask that you sign all suggestions with your private key attached to your Circcash wallet so that I may take your suggestions seriously.

12/24/2020: We are making satisfactory progress on Level 1.

7/24/2021: We have finally upgraded to Level 2. There is still a long way until we get to ASIC mining.

8/7/2021: We have been demoted back to Level 1. Please increase your hash rate. Please buy Circcash to incentivize an increased hash rate.
