I have enabled the plugin and set the defaults on MacBook Catalina 10.15.6. When I start recording on kap, I see the facetime camera turn green for a few seconds, then turn off, then the recording starts.
I think the problem is that the kap application does not have access rights to the camera. But the Kap application is not listed in the applications requesting access to the camera.
How do I fix this?

Also, #34 seems to be a duplicate of this (with more info and some workarounds that I could not apply so far)
