JobWave Online Job Portal

JobWave is an online job portal that facilitates job seekers in finding suitable job opportunities and assists employers in posting job vacancies. The platform integrates authentication and authorization using JWT (JSON Web Tokens) authentication for secure access. Additionally, it features resume building functionality, job posting capabilities, and advanced job search functionalities.

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/kashishsinghyadav/Jobwave-Online-job-portal
   

2. Install the required dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt

3. Apply database migrations:

   python manage.py migrate

4. Create a superuser account:

   python manage.py createsuperuser

5. Run the Django server:

   python manage.py runserver

Usage

1. Launch the Django server.
2. Register as a job seeker or employer, or log in if you already have an account.
3. For job seekers:
   • Build your resume with the provided tools.
   • Search for job opportunities based on your preferences.
4. For employers:
   • Post job vacancies with detailed descriptions.
   • Review applicants' resumes and contact suitable candidates.
5. Explore the testimonials section to see user feedback.

API Endpoints

• /api/token/: Obtain JWT token.
• /api/token/refresh/: Refresh JWT token.
• /api/resumes/: Manage resumes (CRUD operations).
