CC seems like the right thing here since it's not code. CC-by, CC-by-sa, CC-by-nc, and CC-by-nc-sa all seem appropriate. Like @scothis, I'm fine with being as open as possible and going with CC-by.

I added a link to CC-by in the readme. Should we also add a license.txt file?
