Some users have reported issues regarding the bibtexparser version. In such a case it is recommended to remove the package that is automatically installed with pytag in the first instance, and then reinstall it while specifying bibtexparser==0.6.2 by using e.g.: python3 -m pip install bibtexparser==0.6.2, so that the package will be installed directly to your python 3 versions. Then you can just run pytag as described in the tutorial.
