Can I make kxmovie compatible with ios 5.0? #43

Hi kolyvan,

I noticed that at least ios 5.1 required for kxmovie. so can i make it work on ios 5.0 devices?
what is the limitation if supporting ios 5.0 devices?

IMHO yes,
The reason of using 5.1 is that I didn't have a device with ios 5.0 at the moment of creation kxmovie.

I got a problem when i was trying to use a custom io context for writing buffer.
It works fine in simulator 5.0-6.1. but failed in my ipod touch 5.0.
it always crashes in dispatch_async at asyncDecodeFrames. any idea?

Hm, no idea. I unable to reproduce such bug.
Please note, Custom IO is an experimental feature, and I tested it a very roughly.
