Docker Desktop for Mac or Windows will have limited functionality due to host networking (--network host) not being properly supported by Docker for Mac/Windows on those platforms: namely, HomeKit pairing will fail. It is possible, however, to use bridged networking in Hyper-V or VMWare Fusion, and then run Docker in the Linux VM.
Docker Desktop for Mac/Windows is not supported.
