Parity generates the following error logs:

Encountered error during block restoration: Block 310000 had wrong hash. expected d5fcb8508553d800778760fd816363196adb22e1f80cdf36c4bc94846e5ecf70, got 138abcc785383a0cf25eedd6cef30e3bd1896a6094652b299ac3d62e5f1569a

Interesting, please can you try with --no-warp and see if it fixes it?

Also, please ensure you're not using config.json anymore, with 1.6+ you can use --chain kovan

Yes, I used --chain kovan. Oddly I can't reproduce it for the moment, closing for now, will update once it happens again.

Thanks, it was because one of the validators was on an older version; they've updated now so it shouldn't occur anymore.
