service API provides interactive elements on main window to display API examples, e.g. patch
autogen-API-example

having API examples like the one with service API would massively enhance user/developer experience. can we autogenerate them for all APIs?

This issue is currently awaiting triage.

SIG Docs takes a lead on issue triage for this website, but any Kubernetes member can accept issues by applying the triage/accepted label.

The triage/accepted label can be added by org members by writing /triage accepted in a comment.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes/test-infra repository.

We have an existing issue #25505, to migrate our existing API documentation to use the new API reference generator.
Perhaps we should evaluate whether incorporating your feature request into that issue is feasible or if it's not a priority at the moment due to the substantial efforts required.

@sftim (or any other lead/maintainer): I would like to hear your thoughts on this request.

If we work on this, let's make those changes to the new API reference pages. If we can also make a similar improvement to the single page API reference: even better!

I like the idea of doing this. It would (like most improvements we make) need a contributor to volunteer their time and effort towards making it happen.
