As lots of libraries are based on python 2.7, I was wondering why Py4A isn't
porting it to Android.

I may help with help to do this if it is desired

Meanwhile Py4a 2.7 support, you can do your own package following:

Robbie, would it be possible to have a PythonForAndroid-rxx.apk build using
Python 2.7.2 from android-python27 ?

Hi,

I also think it would be great to have an PythonForAndroid.apk to use Python
2.7 from android-python27.
