First message selection shared across old chat and new chat

Intuitively, I was expecting the alternate first message selection to be independent across different chats. But, I realized first message selection is shared across every chat.

This causes an issue that when I come back to the old chat, the first message can be different from the one I selected originally, which is pretty non-intuitive behavior, in my opinion.
