I'd like to use this in a project but I don't see a license on it. Could you elaborate on what license this is under?

(If you don't care about licensing, my vote would be the Apache license. :)

Having not done my research thoroughly enough I had landed on Creative Commons Attribution, but I see that's not recommended for software. Apache license it is! I'll give this a mention in an update.
