Would be great if this would work with @Parallels Desktop machines via vagrant-parallels (or even just prlctl). I don't know Cocoa/Obj-C, so I'm not sure how to do it, but it seems like the commands would be fairly simple. In many cases, prlctl is actually a little more intuitive to use than VBoxManage...for what it's worth.

Ah yes, there is that as well :) — although all machines have to be rebuilt for that, and some of mine will probably never be rebuilt. But the ones that matter (automatic Docker Host VMs) can be, I think.

We have a new beta release for version 2.0, which includes support for more providers. You can either set the "Allowed Updates" in your preferences to "beta" or lower to get the update through the app, or you can download it from our GitHub Releases page.

There is automatic detection for Parallels machines, but if the machines are not detected you can always add them as bookmarks and set the provider to "parallels". Let us know if you have any issues with the new build.

Even using bookmarks doesn't work.

In the new version you added a bookmark, set the provider to parallels, and the machine won't come up? can you see what command it is running in the task output window? It should be:

vagrant up --provider=parallels

If so, does that command work for you from the command line if you run it yourself?

Parallels machines didn't show up in bookmarks, however selecting Parallels
folder in Documents where VMs are stored didn't add any bookmarks, at the
end selecting whole Documents folder did add Parallels machines.

this should be implemented in release 2.0
