Great idea, i have uninstalled valet because of this. php-fpm was constantly running in background and unsing a port i wanted to use, i was not able to stop it with brew service, and kill the process made it restart automatically... but when i need valet... i had to re-install all of it |

@driesvints Is there already a solution for this? Without running it as root it shows as status 'none'. |

Clear description of your problem
Installed valet with
valet install
under MacOS Big Sur 11.6 (20G165) Intel. It installed successfully and configured
dnsmasq
,nginx
,php
- everything is working fine. However, even after starting valet, these services remain stopped under
brew services
and can't be started or stopped using brew itself.Note: Valet itself is working fine I just want to manage these services with
DBngin
app or withbrew services start/stop
command if possible.Expected behavior
After starting valet,
dnsmasq
,nginx
,php
should be running inbrew services
and it should be possible to start / stop these services withbrew
.If Valet is stopped, running
brew services start nginx/dnsmasq/php
should start these services same way valet start does.Current behavior
It always shows stopped and if I start e.g.
nginx
withbrew services start nginx
the status of this service iserror
.Steps to Reproduce
dnsmasq
,nginx
,php
