bs_android submitted a task and got an error returned on running it

Got the following error returned when running bs_android -
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 400
Error: failed to schedule test execution
{"status":400,"error":"There was a problem in the JSON you submitted."}

The test runs fine when I run it via patrol test command and linked to a device.
how can i see what the issue is with the JSON that was submitted by bs_anddroid?
