I think there are currently two "schools"

Arnold Driven Development (ADD)

  • Focuses on adding the "missing" one liners people are craving for (especially from Kindergarten Cop)
  • Doesn't really matter if the commands are usefully

Feature Driven Development (FDD)

  • Develop useful features so that you could actually do something with the language e.g. solve Euler#1, read input etc.

Discuss!

I'm much more interested in how to incorporate

  • HEY VINNIE! SCREW YOU!
  • I DON'T NEED HOWSER FOR THAT
  • CONSIDER IT A DIVORCE
  • GIVE THESE PEOPLE AIR
  • SEE YOU AT THE PARTY RICHTER
  • COME ON BABY. YOU KNOW YOU'RE THE GIRL OF MY DREAMS
  • I'M A CYBERNETIC ORGANISM. LIVING TISSUE OVER A METAL ENDOSKELETON.

into programming for kicks than I am with actually doing anything

I'd at least like to have comments and input added. The rest of the language features would be gravy (it might even be MORE fun to try to solve Euler#1 without additional language features, as difficult as it might be).

TO CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES == memset
SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU == fprintf(stderr, ...)
HEAR THE LAMENTATION OF THEIR WOMEN == input ?

(or maybe function calls/declarations?)
