Line breaks due to overflowing cvtags doesn't work properly.
As the minimal not-working example (MnWE) consider a one-line update to this doc example
with
\cvsection{Strengths}
\cvtag{Hard-working (18/24)}
\cvtag{Extremely Hard-working (18/24)} % a long tag that badly overflows\cvtag{Persuasive}
\cvtag{Motivator \& Leader}
and compile with altacv.cls v1.7, 9 Aug 2023.
The new tag overlflows as shown here:

Looks like a side-effect of the ragged2e package. Removing the ragged2e option in the \documentclass declaration OR adding \LaTeXraggedright before these \cvtag should help.
