slick-greeter background

 * slick-greeter version 1.2.1-1
 * Distribution - Arch (Antergos Cinnamon - fresh install)
 * Graphics hardware Intel HD 520, driver i915 (i dont use xf86-video-intel but for test i also install this drivers and bug still exist)
*  64 bit

Issue
when i change wallpaper in lightdm-settings for slick-greeter the background at login screen what i chose appears only for few second. after that wallpaper changing itself to wallpaper what i have set on my desktop

Steps to reproduce
install from aur lightdm-slick-greeter change in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf from
greeter-session=lightdm-webkit2-greeter to greeter-session=slick-greeter and change in lightdm-settings wallpaper

Expected behaviour
when i change background image in lightdm-settings at login screen display my chosen one not from desktop.

Other information
i use wallpapers from /usr/share/background/gnome and i dont have encrypted disc

antergos community help me fix this bug. probably its new feature from slick-greeter and lightdm-settings its not updated to turn on/off this feature. i must manually edit /etc/lightdm/slick-greeter.conf and add to this config file draw-user-backgrounds=false now all works fine ;) so i will wait for updated version lightdm-settings

This also happens on a fresh install of mint 19. Joksiks fix also fixed it

Have the same issue. It depends from gnome-backgrounds package. (I use Arch Linux Distro)

I'm using Arch with Cinnamon, latest version o Slick Greeter (1.5.6), and it will override the selected background image by the Cinnamon desktop background.

AFAIK this is the intended behaviour when you have "draw user backgrounds selected". Instead of showing the background you chose in the Login settings, it draws your desktop wallpaper.
