Tempo Key
OOM gives you 2 ways to record tempo changes that are read by the sequencer.

The graphical tempo editor is a visual representation of the timeline in OOM. Much like using a controller lane in the Performer, the user can "draw" tempo curves and and shapes for his or her project, using the pencil tool, and if required. resetting tempo values with the eraser tool. One of the challenges of writing midi with a variable timeline is timing the input when recording live, so for this reason, the GTE has a button to apply or disable the written changes as you want. This is particularly useful when you wish to record live at a constant tempo for work that you can confidently play into OOM on the fly, then engaging the GTE to hear your input back with any variable tempo you've written.
The GTE grid can be set to a snap size that suits you, from Bar to 1\16, and this will be reflected in the number of events that appear in the window. So you can make your changes as coarse, or as fine as you wish, from sudden tempo changes to sweeping gradual curves.

If you're more likely to set a constant tempo in your project, and possible add a direct change to another tempo, then the LTE may be more suitable. The window opens into a list, to which you simply add entries as you want. Note that any entry you add will appear near the top of the list, and you'll then have to modify the timeline placement value to put the change where you want, in your project timeline.
As well as tempo changes, OOM accepts key signature changes, and these can be added to both the Tempo Editors as you want.
In the Graphical Tempo Editor , place the playback cursor where you wish to make a key signature change, then in the spinbox at the bottom right of the panel, change the value.
In the List Tempo Editor, press the TimeSig button, and a new entry will appear in the list, which you can then modify for KeySig, and placement in the project timeline.
Note: The key signature spinbox value is changed for the number that is highlighted at that moment. Ensure you have the highlight over the right number .
