Archive Repository

Hi,

I happened to stumble upon this repository. Did you know that you can now 'Archive' repositories on Github and make them read-only? It might be easy for contributors to miss the 'ABANDONED' tag that is in brackets in the description of the repository. Also, if we're not putting up a huge banner on the Readme that says that the project has been abandoned, contributors might totally miss the fact out.

The 'Archive Repository' feature was just recently introduced by Github on November 08, 2017. I thought that it would help with respect to the status of this repository.
