What happened?
When creating a new podman based devcontainer, two error messages pop up.

image

What did you expect to happen instead?
Container to start like already existing podman workspaces and docker workspaces.

How can we reproduce the bug? (as minimally and precisely as possible)
Using podman as the docker path for the docker provider.
Use: https://github.com/ublue-os/bluefin for the repo
My devcontainer.json:

{
    "name": "...",
    ...
}

Local Environment:

  • DevPod Version: v0.5.4
  • Operating System: linux
  • ARCH of the OS: AMD64

DevPod Provider:

  • Local/remote provider: docker (using podman)

Anything else we need to know?
n/a
