URL of the page: https://loopback.io/

Some of the links are broken and result in an error when trying to click on them.
I marked the respective logos in this screenshot:

@dhmlau
Do you want me to remove them?
I checked whether they are still unavailable and every website I mentioned still is.

I checked the links on the landing page today and found the following issues:

List of Broken Links or No Domain

Url Comment Error Type
https://www.shoppinpal.com/ broken
https://www.pitagorinesgroup.com/en/ broken
https://www.fundrails.com/ broken
https://humansofcode.com/ nodomain
https://godaddy.com/ redirect
https://flightoffice.com/ nodomain
https://pubpointsmartdraw.cloud/ nodomain
http://www.eycgrupo.com/ nodomain
https://strongloop.com/strongblog/tag_LoopBack.html Stay in the Loop nodomain
https://strongloop.com/strongblog/ StrongLoop Blog nodomain

I don't have the time today to address the issue, but I plan to work on it on Monday. Let me know if someone else can address the issue sooner. Thanks P-)

@dhmlau, Can we have the label set to doc?

@GrooveCS, thanks for looking into this.
I agree that the logos with broken links can be removed. I wonder what's the difference between broken and nodomain in error type.

For strongloop.com references, I believe we've migrated the blog content to https://loopback.io/blog/. I doubt the tagging got migrated.

Good morning @dhmlau.
Here is the answer to your question:

  • nodomain: The domain was unable to be located in the DNS registry
  • broken: The domain still exists in the DNS registry, yet unable to resolve the hyperlink
