Send new pod event to Nightscout

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Not a problem but I trigger an automation when I replace my pod by setting a remote bolus of 150% and tracking my inventory of insulin supplies. I utilize homeassistant connected to Nightscout to trigger automations to do remote temp basal overrides but need to manually send this data to Nightscout via a webhook. It would be nice if Loop automatically send this event to NS.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like Loop to send events such as omnipod replacements to Nightscout so that the Cannula age (cage) and insulin age (page) pills can accurately reflect the age of the pod/insulin.

Describe alternatives you've considered
what I currently do is run an iOS shortcut called ‘new pod’ which triggers a webhook to send the “Pump Site Change” event to Nightscout. While this does work it requires manually activating the shortcut (through a button or via Siri). It would be nice if this can automatically be done, since Loop sends event data to Nightscout already.

I utilize the cage pill in automations in Homeassistant so I can track if my pod will need to be replaced overnight. If the pod is more than 64 hours old it will send me a notification before going to sleep that I should replace it. I hate getting awoken in the middle of the night to beeps.

Additional context
Currently use iOS 17.5.1 and Loop v 3.2.1 built via browser build.

I believe these features are in Dev. I know the build script has the customizations available for both pills, but I am having issues with the SAGE pill after a few months of it working well.

Thank you for this information. I’ve upgraded to the dev branch and replace my first pod this morning. The cage pill updated as expected.
