do we want to require some kind of style for markdown tables?

Specifically, do we want to allow tables where the pipes between different rows are misaligned? I personally find this gets hard to read, but i'm sure not everyone feels the same.

I do think it would be good to have guidance here. MD tables are messy, and there are known MD "upgrades" that handle it better, but for now we're staying with the basics. Good to keep this issue here to ponder alternatives.
