This is a usability enhancement -- using the module "conditional fields", you 
can make certain form fields depending on the choice/values of other form 
fields, improving the form appearance

In Drupal 7, this can be implemented using pre-process fct at the theming 
level.  there is no need for conditional fields -- learnt at DrupalCon Denver 
2012, via Chris Shattuck
