While I was playing Ninja Gaiden I decided to reset the game with Ctrl-R, at main menu it was fine, but when I pressed START it failed showing the act number and freezed, after some time it gives a segfault

zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) tetanes Downloads/Ninja\ Gaiden\ \(USA\).nes

It's not limited to just Ninja Gaiden, it seems, I tried it with Punch-Out and it does the same thing - it freezes and segfaults upon trying to load the level

Thanks for reporting! This was due to the audio DMC reset function trashing the pointer to the mapper. Fixed!
