Does using v6.63.0 stop the issue like it does for some people in the ticket?

@lwouis It used to happen very often. Whenever there was mouse hover, it always used to take the focus to the window preview where the mouse was. But with v6.65.0 this has stopped happening very often but still it keeps happening sometimes.

I'll close this ticket as a duplicate of #3117. It looks like it's the same issue. Let's focus the effort in #3117 👍

Hi @lwouis , I don't think this is a duplicate of #3117. My mouse cursor was on another screen where there are no alt-tab window tiles (I have several monitors) but this drifting still happened.

Btw, I tried using 6.63.0 for a few days, and I've so far not seen any drifting. So I guess the diff between 6.63.0 and 6.64.0 contains the root cause of this issue.

Hi @lwouis , could you reopen this issue? I'm on 6.63.0 for the past two weeks, and I ran into this racing issue today.

It is tracked in #3117. It's not related to the mouse cursor.
