I recently created a view only wallet for my existing monero address, and I found that one of my transactions showed as a debit instead of a credit. Looking at the details for the transaction, it appears to have the send and receive addresses swapped.

I can confirm a problem on view only wallets.
I made my first contribution on FFS yesterday and my view only wallet is showing the transaction as a credit (+ transaction + change) instead of a debit (- transaction - change + change).
I tried to sync a "new" restored wallet, and get the same behavior.

@m2049r have you seen this behavior before?

Still present in 1.5.7 (new "restore view only" wallet)

does it look different if you restore it (as veiw-only) in the CLI?

or use the android wallet files in the CLI?

i've restored it in the CLI as view-only, and i can see the transaction as a credit.
+ transaction + change + fees
instead of
- transaction - change + change - fees

I'm restoring from seed on my "back wallet" or "semi air-gapped" VM, but it took some time. I think it will end up with a new issue on monero repo.
