The encoded file that is produced from the preset of "Quicktime (H.264 10Mbps)" has extremely low volume. I am running cTivo 2.2 on Mac OS 10.9.1. There used to be postings on editing the audio outputs but I can no longer find any reference to them. I had previously duplicated the preset listed above and edited the audio output to include "-af volume=13.1" but this causes the encode to fail so I can no longer use the custom preset. So now I am back to being able to pull the show and get a successful encode but the volume is really low--to the point that the file is almost unusable.

Sorry for super-delayed response, and unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions as neither of the developers of cTiVo know much about the settings for mencoder. You'll need to try and get some help there. FYI, judging from other formats, I think you want "13:1", not "13.1", but I don't think that would crash according to the mencoder spec ( http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/man/en/mplayer.1.txt ). You might open the log files after a encoder fail to see what mencoder's error is on that subject (You'll need to see MTTask's debug level to Detail to see that info in the log.)

Thanks for the response. I ended up deleting the profile and re-creating it with the custom setting. Things now appear to be back to "normal" for me. Thanks for all of the great effort and work on cTivo!
