This is my very first time using Tiled and it took me awhile to figure out why the Eraser tool wasn't working.

If I don't have a Tile Layer selected I can still draw on it, but I can't erase from it.
As soon as I select the layer I can erase from it too.

Can draw but can't erase.

Yeah, this is broken. It should be pretty rare that you don't have the current layer selected, but I think the eraser should still work on it in any case.

Or, we should make sure the current layer is always selected. Right now, you can deselect the current layer by Ctrl+clicking it. Maybe we should try to block this behavior. How did you cause the layer to be not selected? There was an initialization bug related to this which I fixed in Tiled 1.3.2.

I just clicked off of it on an empty area inside the list box.
