currently the watch command is not optimal with regards to three aspects:

  • it does not rebuild when a new file is added
  • it rebuilds when unrelated files are modified (e.g. hie.yaml)
  • it somehow duplicates the logic which describes where the project files are, also present in .nix/haskell-source.nix

It would be nice to be able to watch for files defined in haskell-source.nix, including new files when directories are specified
