Another issue with Prelab 10 is that the files on the course wiki have unix line endings, while the files we ran on the server appear to have DOS line endings. This is the cause of a fair number of the support requests, but we did tell them in the lab that they need to ignore any non-printable characters, not just tab/newline.
I've been going through the support requests on Prelab 10, downloading/running the code people say doesn't work, finding where it messes up on handling DOS line endings, and writing up a short summary on the support request. I'm leaving them all as "pending," but I'm hoping to do a bit of preliminary work to save you two some time. :P
