I hope this is the right place to start a question.

I want to set a Page Footer. I already found layouts/partials/custom-footer.html but the footer is only for the whole site. Is it possible to add a footer just in the area where the content of a site is? Something like this in my old Theme:

Now it like this when I add it to custom-footer:
