I use compton as my primary composite manager.

I like the fast alt-tabbing feature Marco provides.

I like to see Marco enabling that, if it sees an external composite manager.

Could you please provide steps to use compton with Marco?

You need to following files:

Install "compton_0.1~beta2-1_amd64.deb".

Place "compton.conf" to "~/.config".

Double click on the "compton.desktop" file.

And if you want to login with Compton, place "compton.desktop" to "~/.config/autostart".

Compton support is now available in mate-tweak tool. No code changes in Marco needed.
