It would be convenient to have GC controller support in a case you want to
play a game made for use with GC controller, ie SSBB.

There are also some other games that doesn't require Wiimote at all...
Muramasa,
Resident Evil Archives, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, etc.

If you're using preloader or bootmii you could go directly to the HBC and boot
Wiiflow without even using the (maybe out of batteries) Wiimote, so it would be
great to be able to select and boot the actual game also using the GameCube
controller.

Here is the Wiimote button mapping. Can someone please make one useful button
mapping
for the GC controler?

What if you just did a direct one for one with some minor changes. ie
up = up
down = down
left = left
right = right
a = a
b = b
minus = y
plus = x
1 = L1
2 = R1

Buttons would have same functionality as wiimote does

Up Down Left Right: Map them to both the dpad and main analog stick.
L / R: Just pushing a little the trigger should be enough to acknowledge the
button,
no need to make it click.

Main menu (coverflow) :
Up / Down Previous / next game (vertical)
Left / Right Previous / next game (horizontal)
L / R           Previous / next page
A+L / A+R       Alphabetic search
B           Select game
B+A         Launch game immediately
A+Start         Reload
Z+Start         Exit
X / Y           Previous / next mode
Start Access and exit icon menus, navigate through icons with dpad/
analog stick, accept with B.

Game :
Z           Show the backside
B           Launch game
A           Back to coverflow
Up / Down Previous / next game (vertical)
Left / Right Previous / next game (horizontal)
C Analog stick Free rotation of the cover ;-)
L / R                   Free zoom of the cover ;-)
Start Access and exit icon menus specific to the game, navigate
through icons with dpad/analog stick, accept with B.

Settings menus :
L / R           Previous / next page

Coverflow settings :
L / R           Previous / next page
A Faster adjustement (While pressing left/right on the dpad/
analog stick)
A+L         Copy whole coverflow

About B+A... Better make it B+Z, it's easier to the hand.

B+Z         Launch game immediately

Hey this is a nice idea... maybe if the Home menu showed the controls for the
current
screen (main menu/game/settings/coverflow settings) besides giving the option
to go to
the Wii menu it would make things easier.

I just came up with a possible control scheme for some controllers... now it's
kinda
complex, so having access to a list of controls in Wiiflow would be important.

GAMECUBE Controls

- Main menu (coverflow) :

A             Select game
Z Pop up the buttons (Settings, Favs, etc.)
D-Pad             Previous / next game
L/R                   Previous / Next page
B+L/B+R               Alphabetic search
X             Change Mode
Start             Launch game immediately
L+R+A+(Y/X)       Reload
L+R+A+Z           Exit

- Game :

A                 Launch game
B             Back to coverflow
D-Pad             Previous / next game
X             Change Mode
Y             Flip cover
Z Pop up the buttons (Settings, Favs, etc.)

- Settings menus :

L/R           Previous / Next page

- Coverflow settings :

Analog Stick          Select option
Up/Down Select option (vertical, cycle through all the options)
Left/Right        Change an option
Left/Right + Hold B Change an option (faster)
L/R           Previous / Next page
A Wiiflow asks if you want to Save, Quit, or continue editing

CLASSIC CONTROLLER Controls

- Main menu (coverflow) :

A             Select game
Z1/Z2 Pop up the buttons (Settings, Favs, etc.)
D-Pad             Previous / next game
L/R*              Previous / Next page
B+L/B+R*              Alphabetic search
X             Change Mode
Hold B and press A Launch game immediately
L+R+A+(Y/X)       Reload
L+R+A+Z           Exit
Analog Stick** Move a virtual pointer (like using the Classic Controller
in the Wii Menu)
Green/A Press a button if pointer is hovering over it

**like in the Wii Menu, the virtual pointer would dissapear if you don't move
it for
a while

- Game :

A                 Launch game
B             Back to coverflow
D-Pad             Previous / next game
X             Change Mode
Y             Flip cover
Z Pop up the buttons (Settings, Favs, etc.)
Analog Stick & A Virtual Pointer

- Settings menus :

L/R*              Previous / Next page
Analog Stick & A Virtual Pointer

- Coverflow settings :

Analog Stick          Select option
Up/Down Select option (vertical, cycle through all the options)
Left/Right        Change an option
Left/Right + Hold B Change an option (faster)
L/R*              Previous / Next page
A Wiiflow asks if you want to Save, Quit, or continue editing

*Plus and Minus would also work instead of L and R

Red+Orange        Change Mode
Plus              Launch game immediately
Minus+(G, R, Y or B)      Reload
Minus+Orange          Exit

isn't it still an issue until the official WiiFlow gets it? I don't use
Priiloader so
that dol could be problematic.
