It could be great to provide xdg-user-dirs (and launch xdg-user-dirs-update) in order to get from start user directories in user session.

I installed cinnamon and directories were not created...

@spsf64 How do you start cinnamon?
I just tested with gdm and it work but with startx, you need to launch xdg manually...

I am using lightdm.
Maybe "xdg-user-dirs-gtk" is needed?

@spsf64 I've just tested a clean install in a VM with cinnamon and lightdm and my user have all the folders (Pictures, Music, ...)

@MatMoul It is working, I am sorry, I think I was not going through the whole "system install menu".
