(I use a UK keyboard) - I found that I had to use the "force legacy" option to make this go away - is this by design?

I noticed that if I disable the add-on, and re-enable it, I get an extra > like this:

 >

Don't know if that's similar to what you're experiencing. Can you copy & past a sample of the output it's producing?

I encountered a similar issue. More so, when I disabled then reenabled an additional time, it would now add an additional ">" (n+1 of >'s, where n is the number of times disabled)

Reinstalling the package fixed this issue. Disabling and reenabling reproduced this issue.
