JOSS - release version #2
Comments
It is impossible for me to edit the submission on JOSS, however maybe the JOSS editor (@arokem) can provide a solution to this problem? As for the github release, it was just created. |
I don't think there is any issue with the version mismatch. Once the paper is accepted for publication, we will ask for a DOI to an archive that contains the version of the software that was accepted for publication, and that will be the authoritative reference to the code described in the paper. But the truth is that I am not entirely sure what the purpose of asking for version information is. See also openjournals/joss#442 |
Great. So there is only a need to create a GitHub release before the publication. |
Perfect, the release was created. Closing issue. |
The version mentioned in JOSS is 0.1.4. However, I think that the PiPy is now 0.1.6. You should probably update something in the submission in JOSS.
Also, you will need to create a GitHub release.
