It is used metaphorically to suggest that Maybe is the central system for managing financial tasks and data, much like how an operating system is essential for running a computer. |

IMHO, visitors should be able to understand the goal of any project by reading the first lines of the README. Explaining it in another document and using a metaphor can be confusing.
What about replacing “OS” with “central system”? |

Thanks for the feedback! Invariably things like taglines will change over time. We've got massive low-hanging fruit to tackle for now that has a bit higher priority, but certainly something for us to keep in mind! |

OS is often used as an acronym for “Operating System”, but Maybe is not one since it's an Rails app.
Proposal: explain in README what is an “OS” in the context of this project.
