Create custom account and investment types? #405

Yeah, for Canada and the UK there are equivalents to things like 401ks and Roth IRAs (e.g. TFSA, and ISAs). Being able to switch the terminology to use the set based on your country would be good. It's not that the tax rules really matter to the app, it just helps to categorize the accounts and make it easier to use with the type being displayed a little clearer. |

@MadeInPierre yes, the intention is to be able to support any type of account. We're still early on developing "account-specific" views and creation flows though, so it may be a little bit of time before we'll get this implemented. That said, once we have a solid account hierarchy, this could be a good candidate for OSS contributions. As we're a small, primarly US-based team we'll definitely need help scoping out many of these locale-specific investment types. |

Hi!
I see that there is a hard-coded list of investment categories in the codebase. In France, we have investments that do not exist in the US, like "Livrets" and "Fonds euro" (zero-risk guaranteed investments, some managed by the state and others by funds). I imagine that lending and real estate regulations are also very different.
Same for account types, we can invest in various accounts we call "envelopes" (similar to 401k in the US, we have CTOs, AVs, PEAs, PERs, ...) with different tax rules, fees, and regulations.
Will it be possible to flexibility create these models? Through PRs or flexibly in the UI? Maybe even create a profile for each country with sensible local defaults for newcomers?
Thanks a lot for this amazing project!
