ISSUE: Stuck on Reticulating Splines

  1. Open Task Manager using CTRL SHIFT ESC or CTRL ALT DEL
  2. Terminate powershell.exe

The issue will be resolved in the future releases, sorry for the inconvenience

Warning ⚠️

  • 23H2 support is not fully finished
    • Start Menu ads are not partially removed
    • Some new APPX packages might not have been removed
    • The status: "Removing Microsoft Edge" or "Reticulating Splines" (Simply ignore it and wait until it finishes)
  • AME Wizard has issues regarding:
    • Selecting a different browser; it still installs the default browser
    • Selecting a different browser; check boxes on the next page get deselected (make sure to double-check!)

  • Search Indexing automatically throttles under the following conditions:
    • PC is in Battery Saver, Best Power Efficiency, or Game Mode
    • Process usage exceeds 80%
    • Disk usage goes up above 70%
  • Removes Microsoft.AdvertisingXaml and MixedReality.Portal on 10

Consider

  • Taskbar and Start menu items reset
  • Programs might take a lot of time to load on 11

Known issues:

  • Bluetooth doesn't work
    • Extracting BthTelemetry.dll from an official ISO and moving it to C:\Windows\System32 is the only solution
  • Taskbar and Start menu items reset
  • Stock Windows wallpapers appear on UAC dialog
  • Programs might take a lot of time to load on 11
    • To avoid, disable security features in Windows Defender, such as Memory Integrity, before using AME Wizard
