Currently this crate uses #![feature(type_ascription)]. As far as I understand this feature does only help with cosmetics. Furthermore it looks like removing it doesn't break the build. So please remove it to allow compilation with the stable channel.

@meh I have no clue why I closed this issue, but it is not resolved. Please adjust accordingly. If you agree, I would be fine to takeover all the screenruster repos as well.
